The update is already live and Nintendo is giving out a Ring-Con in the game to mark the onset of the Fall season.
To get the Ring-Con, all you have to do is update the game to the latest version. At times, Nintendo doesn’t prompt you to update the game automatically so you can select the title in the Home screen, and head on to the Options menu to update it manually.
Once you have the Fall Update installed, you need to check your in-game mailbox and you will receive a mail from Nintendo. Open the mail to receive a Present, which will be added to your inventory. Once you open the Present inside your inventory, you will get the Ring-Con.

While the Ring-Con is purely for decorative purposes in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, it can add a nice little touch to your living room or gaming room. With the Nintendo Switch dummy already available in the in-game shop, it should be interesting to see what else Nintendo plans to add in the game.
